First Generation (2024–Present)
2024: Global Launch on the New PPE Platform
- Debut: The Audi Q6 e-tron was officially unveiled in March 2024. It is the first production model built on the all-new Premium Platform Electric (PPE), co-developed with Porsche.
- Initial Models & Motors:
- Q6 e-tron quattro: Dual-motor AWD. Total system power: 285 kW (387 PS / 382 hp).
- SQ6 e-tron: Dual-motor AWD. Total system power: 380 kW (517 PS / 510 hp) in boost mode.
- Battery & Range:
- The Q6 e-tron uses a newly developed battery with a gross capacity of 100 kWh and a usable capacity of 94.9 kWh.
- WLTP-estimated range: up to 625 km (388 miles) for the Q6 e-tron and up to 598 km (372 miles) for the SQ6 e-tron.
- Charging: The 800-volt architecture enables a peak DC fast charging rate of up to 270 kW. This allows for a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 21 minutes.
- Performance:
- Acceleration 0-100 km/h: 5.9 seconds for the Q6 e-tron, and 4.3 seconds for the SQ6 e-tron.
Future Variants
Future: Single-Motor Rear-Wheel-Drive Model
- Planned Model: Audi has confirmed that a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) variant will be added to the lineup. This model will likely feature a single, powerful rear electric motor.
- Battery & Range: This RWD version will be equipped with a smaller, lighter 83 kWh battery pack. Due to increased efficiency, it is expected to have an even greater WLTP range than the quattro models.
