Opel Grandland Electric Long Range front view

Opel officially opened order books for the longest-range version of its flagship electric crossover—the Grandland Electric Long Range (97 kWh). Thanks to the new STLA Medium architecture and an increased battery size, this "German-made" model sets a new benchmark for long-distance electric travel, effectively eliminating range anxiety.

🚀 Range Champion: 694 km WLTP

The key innovation is the battery with an impressive 97 kWh (net) capacity. This has pushed the range on a single charge to an exceptional 694 kilometres (WLTP), making the Grandland Long Range the undisputed champion in Opel's electric lineup.

⚡ Performance and Comfort Without Compromise

  • STLA Medium Platform — the BEV-native architecture allowed for the integration of the large battery without compromising passenger compartment or cargo space.
  • Fast Charging — at a high-power public DC station, replenishing the battery to 80% takes only about 27 minutes, making for a short coffee stop on long journeys.
  • Power — the Long Range version's electric motor delivers 170 kW (231 hp) and provides 345 Nm of immediate torque.
  • Dynamics — acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in a respectable 8.8 seconds, with the top speed capped at 170 km/h.

In addition to impressive performance metrics, the Grandland Long Range comes standard with comfort technologies such as ergonomic Intelli-Seats, multimedia infotainment, and the crucial Frequency Selective Damping system for a perfect balance between comfort and handling—a hallmark of Opel engineering.
